The benefits of walking
I used to pooh-pooh walking. I was a runner! I was a hiker/swimmer/whatever. But my husband introduced me to the pleasures of a long walk on gorgeous trails and I was forever hooked.
Walking allows you to connect with people. Walking is what all those centenarians do in France and Italy. You can walk til you drop. Running? Not so much.
